At Kishone Engineering Works, we remain committed to the safety and well-being of our team involved in the manufacturing process. We also care of the nature and make our production process as green as possible. The presence of heavy machinery and equipment at our factories make it particularly important for us to have proper safety and environmentally considerate processes to be followed for the protection of our factory workers.
Assessment and training
We carry out periodic safety assessment to ensure that all safety measures are in place. Everything from the safety gear to put on when attending to a particular machine, to the correct usage of the machine, are taken into account when we carry out the safety assessment.
As a part of our ongoing development initiative at Kishone, we carry out periodic training for current staff (both temp and permanent) on environmental conservation and safety procedures. As a result,no staff member is allowed to operate a piece of machinery unless he/she is well-trained and qualified to do so.
All elements for the factory including the flooring are made to endure stress and perform as expected. As a result, the workers can easily discharge their duties without worrying about their own safety and well-being. This measure allows us to prevent slips and falls – one of the most common causes of workplace accidents on the factory floor.
Attention to details
We know that our success depends on the safety of our factory staff. We pay attention to details to make it a safe and productive environment for them. Be it hygiene, ventilation, use of environment friendly practices, reduction of carbon footprint, or lighting, all factors are considered to allow the factory workers to do a good job on the factory floor.
